FourParameterLogisticCurve Class

Members  See Also
Represents a Curve that can be used for a non-linear regression calculation.

Namespace:  Extreme.Mathematics.Curves.Nonlinear
Assembly:  Extreme.Numerics.Net20 (in Extreme.Numerics.Net20.dll) Version: 3.6.10055.0 (3.6.10077.0)

Syntax

C#
public class FourParameterLogisticCurve : NonlinearCurve
Visual Basic (Declaration)
Public Class FourParameterLogisticCurve _
	Inherits NonlinearCurve
Visual C++
public ref class FourParameterLogisticCurve : public NonlinearCurve
F#
type FourParameterLogisticCurve =
    class
        inherit NonlinearCurve
    end

Remarks

Use the FourParameterLogisticCurve class to fit a four parameter logistic curve to data. This type of curve is often used to represent growth processes, or a transition of a quantity from one level to another level.

With the FourParameterLogisticCurve curve, the change from the initial value and towards the final value are fairly symmetrical. When the data does not show this behavior, the resulting fit may not be adequate. In this case, a FiveParameterLogisticCurve may be more appropriate.
