Matrices

A matrix is a two-dimensional array of numbers. The Extreme Optimization Mathematics Library for .NET contains a series of classes for working with matrices. These classes are contained in the Extreme.Mathematics.LinearAlgebra namespace.

All matrix code uses optimized implementations of the Basic Linear Algebra Subroutines (BLAS) and the Linear Algebra PACKage (LAPACK) wherever possible.

In this section:

  • Matrix Basics
  • Dense Matrices
  • Accessing Rows and Columns
  • Mathematical Properties
  • Operations on Matrices
  • Solving Systems Of Linear Equations
  • Solving Least Squares Problems
