FourParameterLogisticCurve Class

Represents a Curve that can be used for a non-linear regression calculation.

Definition

Namespace: Extreme.Mathematics.Curves.Nonlinear
Assembly: Extreme.Numerics (in Extreme.Numerics.dll) Version: 8.1.23
C#
public class FourParameterLogisticCurve : NonlinearCurve
Inheritance
Object  →  Curve  →  NonlinearCurve  →  FourParameterLogisticCurve

Remarks

Use the FourParameterLogisticCurve class to fit a four parameter logistic curve to data. This type of curve is often used to represent growth processes, or a transition of a quantity from one level to another level.

With the FourParameterLogisticCurve curve, the change from the initial value and towards the final value are fairly symmetrical. When the data does not show this behavior, the resulting fit may not be adequate. In this case, a FiveParameterLogisticCurve may be more appropriate.

Constructors

FourParameterLogisticCurve Constructs a new logistic curve.

Properties

Center Gets or sets the center of the logistic curve.
FinalValue Gets or sets the initial value of the logistic curve.
HillSlope Gets or sets the Hill slope of the logistic curve.
InitialValue Gets or sets the initial value of the logistical curve.
Parameters Gets the collection of parameters that determine the shape of this Curve.
(Inherited from Curve)
