Definition

Namespace: Extreme.Mathematics
Assembly: Extreme.Numerics (in Extreme.Numerics.dll) Version: 8.1.23
C#
public static Vector<T> Atan2Into<T>(
	this Vector<T> y,
	Vector<T> x,
	Vector<T> result
)

Parameters

y  Vector<T>
A vector that contains the y-coordinates.
x  Vector<T>
A vector that contains the x-coordinates.
result  Vector<T>
The vector that is to hold the result. May be null.

Type Parameters

T

Return Value

Vector<T>
A vector whose elements are equal to the four-quadrant inverse tangent of the corresponding elements of y and x.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type Vector<T>. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
